Good Samaritan Medical Center is proud to announce that Charmaine Lawton, R.N., won the Hands & Heart Award, and Ana Salguero, R.N., the Student of the Year Award at this year’s Palm Healthcare Foundation Nursing Distinction Awards event.

 

Lawton earned the Hands & Heart Award for her compassion and caring in the practice of nursing, and like all finalists in the Hands & Heart award category, she was nominated by a patient. She earned her BA in Health Administration at Florida Atlantic University and is currently part of the ICU team at Good Samaritan Medical Center.

 

Salguero, our Student of the Year, currently works on the Oncology floor at Good Samaritan Medical Center. She earned her nursing certification at Palm Beach Atlantic University.
