Governor Rick Scott has announced one appointment and three reappointments to the Florida Board of Medicine, the latter of which includes Nabil El Sanadi, M.D., MBA, FACEP, FACHE, President/CEO of Broward Health. Dr. El Sanadi is reappointed for a term beginning March 12, 2015 and ending October 31, 2018.

 

As the recently appointed President/CEO of Broward Health, Dr. El Sanadi oversees all operations for one of the largest public health systems in the United States. As a board certified emergency medicine physician, he continues to practice medicine and treat patients. Prior to his appointment as President/CEO in December 2014, Dr. El Sanadi served as Broward Health’s chief of emergency medicine. He also serves as emergency medical services (EMS) medical director for several local municipalities in Broward County.
