With a deep-rooted commitment to service leadership, Linda Haller and her family foundation recently made a significant investment in the future of Broward Health – a $5.2 million gift announced at the 12th Annual Broward Health Ball. This funding will leave a lasting impact on the community as it will be used to build two new labs at Broward Health Medical Center in downtown Fort Lauderdale, both with cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology capabilities and equipped with Siemens Artis Icono systems.

“These labs will help us meet the growing needs of our community by expanding our capacity to treat cardiac patients, whether they come to us for scheduled or emergency care,” said Jenna Merlucci, vice president of heart and vascular services at Broward Health. “We’re excited about the precise imaging and emphasis on safety and efficiency that the advanced technology enables when used to treat conditions, including cardiac arrhythmias, coronary heart disease and structural heart disease.”
