Freestanding Center Offers 24/7/365 Emergency Care for Adults and Children

December 12, 2025 – HCA Florida Kendall Hospital announces the opening of its new freestanding emergency center, HCA Florida South Dade Emergency, as part of HCA Florida Healthcare’s continued expansion across the state. Opening Tuesday, December 16, the facility located at 14190 SW 288th Street, Homestead, FL 33033 will provide a full range of emergency medical services for both adults and children. This marks HCA Florida Healthcare’s first emergency care facility in the South Dade community.

The new, state of the art ER will be staffed by board-certified emergency medicine physicians and emergency-trained nurses, providing care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, similar to a hospital-based emergency department. Care teams will treat a broad range of urgent medical needs, including infections, chest pain, fractures, and other acute conditions, and offer robust onsite diagnostic services.
