Freestanding facility to provide 24/7/365 emergency care for adults, children
June 2, 2025 – HCA Florida Westside Hospital hosted a groundbreaking ceremony to commemorate the construction of a new HCA Florida Plantation Emergency part of HCA Florida Healthcare’s continued expansion across the state. HCA Florida Plantation Emergency, a planned 11,000-square-foot facility in Plantation will provide a full range of medical services for children and adults when it opens in 2026. State and City of Plantation leaders joined to celebrate this milestone. Thank you to Florida State Senator Rosalind Osgood; Broward County Commissioner Hazelle Rogers; Plantation Mayor Nick Sortal; Council President Louis Reinstein; Councilmembers Jennifer Andreu and Timothy J. Fadgen; and Glendon Hall, Redevelopment Administrator, for joining us today. Their presence underscores the importance of this project for the community we all serve.
