West Palm Beach, Florida – July 8, 2024— HCA Florida Healthcare is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr. Miguel Luna to the Institute for Women’s Health and Body Palm Beach. Dr. Luna is a renowned Gynecologic Surgeon specializing in endometriosis care, providing minimally invasive gynecological procedures. He is the only physician, fellowship trained by the AAGL (American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists) from South Broward County to Orlando to offer Endometriosis specialized care, and we are honored to have him here in Palm Beach County.

With an impressive 24-year career in gynecologic care, Dr. Luna brings a wealth of experience and dedication to patient-oriented healthcare for women. He joins the HCA Florida Healthcare family from his most recent role as the Director of Endometriosis at Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, where he played a key role in championing evidence-based care for endometriosis patients and establishing innovative pathways for those with chronic pelvic pain.

Originally from the Dominican Republic, Dr. Luna completed his OB/GYN training at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. When asked about his passion for endometriosis care, he stated: “In 2017, I attended the World Endometriosis Congress in Vancouver, Canada. After returning from that Congress, I realized the gaps in endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain management that exist throughout the world.”  He has since made it his mission to continue to evolve endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain multidisciplinary care for women.

Dr. Seth Herbst, President, CEO and Founder of HCA Florida Institute for Women’s Health and Body expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Dr. Luna is an essential part of what the Palm Beach community needs. We look forward to his valuable contributions, which will undoubtedly improve women’s healthcare.

Dr. Luna’s office is located at 4631 N. Congress Ave. Suite 100, West Palm Beach, FL 33407.  He will be working at both HCA Florida JFK North Hospital and HCA Florida Palms West Hospital. To schedule an appointment please call: 561.764.2750

HCA Florida Healthcare eagerly anticipates the positive impact Dr. Luna will bring to our healthcare community.
