November 3, 2025 – HCA Florida Highlands Hospital is delighted to welcome Dr. Brian Burke, M.D., FAAOS, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, to HCA Florida Highlands Medical Specialists – Orthopedics in Sebring.

With more than 24 years in practice, Dr. Burke has performed thousands of procedures across nearly every facet of orthopedics. His extensive background includes more than a decade of Level I and II trauma care, where he treated severe, emergency injuries demanding immediate and highly skilled attention. This wide-ranging experience, from high-volume elective surgeries to complex revision arthroplasty, means Dr. Burke is exceptionally well-equipped to treat both routine and complicated orthopedic cases.

Dr. Burke offers comprehensive care for bones, joints, and muscles, specializing in restoring mobility and relieving pain. His capabilities range from minimally invasive procedures, such as arthroscopic repairs for common injuries like rotator cuffs, ACL tears, and torn menisci, to performing complete joint replacement surgeries for the hip, knee, and shoulder, including complex revisions. Additionally, Dr. Burke provides expert trauma and fracture care for severe breaks and dislocations, manages degenerative conditions like arthritis, and treats various hand and soft tissue issues such as carpal tunnel syndrome. He also utilizes cutting-edge, non-surgical treatments like platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and stem cell injections to help patients preserve their joints and return to an active lifestyle.
