July 23, 2025 – HCA Florida JFK Hospital is pleased to announce that Lisisbell Melendrez, RN, BSN, will join the hospital’s leadership team as assistant chief nursing officer, effective July 27, 2025. She will serve alongside Sarah Gille, assistant chief nursing officer, to support nursing excellence and advance patient-centered care.
Lisisbell joins HCA Florida JFK Hospital from sister facility, HCA Florida Kendall Hospital, where she most recently served as director of telemetry, the central monitoring unit, and the medical specialty unit. With more than a decade of healthcare experience, she is known for her dedication to patient care, operational excellence, and developing high-performing teams.
She earned her bachelor of science in nursing from Grand Canyon University and is currently pursuing her master of science in nursing from Walden University.
In recognition of her outstanding service to the behavioral health community and her advocacy for suicide prevention, Lisisbell received the prestigious Frist Humanitarian Award. Her passion for patient safety and improving outcomes will make her a tremendous asset to the HCA Florida JFK Hospital family.
