March 31, 2025 – HCA Florida JFK North Hospital is proud to announce that Andrew (Drew) Wright, MBA, RN will be joining the hospital as Chief Operating Officer effective April 14, 2025.

Drew brings more than a decade of progressive healthcare leadership experience and a unique combination of clinical expertise and operational excellence. A Registered Nurse and accomplished executive, Drew has built a strong reputation for advancing patient-centered care, expanding strategic service lines, and leading with integrity and innovation.

He joins HCA Florida JFK North Hospital from HCA Florida Westside Hospital, where he served as Vice President of Operations & Ethics and Compliance Officer. In this role, Drew provided leadership for multiple departments including Cardiovascular & Interventional Radiology Services, Food & Nutrition, Environmental Services, Laboratory Services, and Cardio-Pulmonary Services. Under his leadership, HCA Florida Westside Hospital launched and grew advanced cardiovascular programs such as the Structural Heart and Watchman programs—enhancing access to life-saving treatments and driving impactful results.

Prior to his time in Florida, Drew held key leadership positions at St. Luke’s Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, where he directed Emergency Services, Senior Care Outpatient Clinic, and Bariatric Clinic operations. His work has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to operational excellence, service line growth, and patient safety.

Drew holds an MBA from Webster University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. His clinical background and administrative expertise position him well to lead operational initiatives and support HCA Florida JFK North Hospital’s ongoing mission of delivering high-quality, compassionate care to the Palm Beach community.
