February 22, 2024 – HCA Florida Northwest Hospital proudly announces the appointment of two distinguished individuals to its Board of Trustees. Dr. Alan A. MacGill has been appointed as the Vice Chair, and Dr. Ivonne Maria Reynolds assumes the role of the Board Chair.
Alan A. MacGill, DPM – Vice Chair
Dr. MacGill brings a wealth of expertise to his role as Vice Chair. Currently serving as the Director of the HCA Florida Northwest Hospital Foot & Ankle Surgery Residency Program, he is also a board member of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons, a society comprising over 8,000 foot and ankle surgeons.
With a remarkable educational background, including a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Dr. William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. MacGill has consistently demonstrated commitment to education and leadership. His extensive practice history, professional affiliations, and appointments on various committees underscore his dedication to the field.
Recognized as a Top Doctor by Fort Lauderdale Illustrated from 2021 to 2023, Dr. MacGill’s achievements include certifications in Foot Surgery, Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery, and Certified Wound Specialist. His commitment to medical education is further evident through his roles as a Clinical Instructor and Adjunct Faculty at esteemed institutions.
Ivonne Maria Reynolds, DO – Board Chair
Coming from humble beginnings, Dr. Ivonne Maria Reynolds brings a unique perspective to her role as the Board Chair. With over 24 years in Florida, she has built a successful practice specializing in high-risk obstetrics and minimally invasive procedures. Dr. Reynolds is also the Medical Director and Primary Investigator at the South Florida Clinical Research Institute.
Dr. Reynolds’ mission is rooted in empowering women with knowledge and preventive care. As the Board Chair, her goal is to bridge the gap between providers, nurses, and administration, fostering a cohesive and collaborative healthcare environment.
