February 28, 2024 – HCA Florida Aventura Hospital proudly announces the grand opening of its cutting-edge free-standing emergency room, HCA Florida Palm Lakes Emergency, located at the intersection of Red Road and 180 Street.
Breaking ground on May 11, 2023, this new facility is a testament to our commitment to providing 24/7 emergency care and advanced diagnostic technologies to the Palm Lakes community and its surrounding areas. The new free-standing emergency room is close to 11-thousand square feet.
David LeMonte, Chief Executive Officer of HCA Florida Aventura Hospital, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “We are dedicated to raising the bar in healthcare. The facility’s 11 exam rooms include multi-purpose spaces and specialized rooms for trauma, bariatric, pelvic, behavioral health, and isolation cases. This strategic design ensures that our expert healthcare teams are ready to address various emergencies.
Before its opening, we welcomed our EMS partners serving Palm Lakes and neighboring communities for an exclusive tour, fostering collaboration and understanding of the facility’s capabilities.
