OCTOBER 7, 2024- Palatka, Fla. – HCA Florida Putnam Hospital has named Collin Pruitt chief financial officer effective Oct. 14.

Pruitt brings extensive and diverse leadership experience to his new role. He most recently served as the assistant chief financial officer at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital in Gainesville. Additionally, he served as the hospital’s co-chief staffing officer and co-ethics and compliance officer. While there, he created and chaired a capital projects committee and worked closely with department leaders to optimize staffing.

Previously, Pruitt spent six years in accounting leadership positions at hospitals in HCA Florida Healthcare’s West Florida Division and also in leadership at the West Florida Division office.

Pruitt received his Master of Healthcare Administration and bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of West Florida.
