April 13, 2023 – HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital has named Nicole Garlinghouse as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO.) She will assume the position effective April 17, 2023.
“I am pleased to have Nicole join us and bring her considerable talents and experience to our facility,” said Jay Finnegan, Chief Executive Officer of HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital. “Nicole has a strong background in financial management, process improvement and accounting. Her successes and experiences will certainly benefit our plans in years to come to expand our hospital and add new service lines of care.”
Garlinghouse comes to St. Lucie Hospital after serving as Chief Financial Officer of HCA Florida Highlands Hospital in Sebring, Florida. She has been with HCA Healthcare for the past fifteen years. Nicole previously served as Controller for HCA Florida JFK Hospital and HCA Florida Palms West Hospital. Prior to those promotions, Nicole was the Assistant Controller for HCA Florida Memorial Hospital and Specialty Hospital Jacksonville. She is a graduate of HCA’s Executive Development Program.

Garlinghouse earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Business Administration – Accounting from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida. She is currently a Board Member of the Sebring Chamber of Commerce and a graduate of Leadership Highlands.
