November 20, 2024 – HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital marked a significant milestone today with the official groundbreaking of its new Freestanding Emergency Room, HCA Florida Stuart Emergency. The ceremony, held at the future site of the facility located at 2551 South Kanner Highway, Stuart, FL, celebrated the next step in expanding emergency care for the local community.

This state-of-the-art 12-bed emergency room will provide immediate, high-quality care to patients in Stuart and the surrounding areas. With advanced medical technology, on-site diagnostic services, and a dedicated team of emergency physicians, HCA Florida Stuart Emergency will offer comprehensive care for a broad range of medical conditions, ensuring swift and effective treatment for those in need.

“With this freestanding emergency room, we’re making sure that critical care is accessible, convenient, and reliable for residents and visitors in the heart of Stuart and Martin County,” said HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital CEO, Corey Lovelace. “This facility will provide emergency services 24/7, staffed by experienced and compassionate professionals who will be ready to respond to any emergency situation.”

The new facility is expected to open in late 2025.
