January 1, 2025 The care team at HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital is thrilled to have welcomed their first baby of the new year. At 2:49 a.m., mom Leandra welcomed baby Carmen weighing 8 pounds and 2 ounces.

“Our team is excited to welcome this little one into our family,” said Corey Lovelace, CEO of HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital. “It’s a special honor for her to be the first baby of the year born here at our hospital.”
