May 30, 2023 – HCA Florida University Hospital, a 165-bed facility, and part of HCA Florida Healthcare, the largest healthcare system in the state, today announces Danny Fischesser as the hospital’s chief financial officer. Fischesser joins University Hospital from HCA Florida Aventura Hospital, where he has served as assistant chief financial officer for two years.
“Fischesser brings deep and relevant expertise in finance and accounting,” said HCA Florida University Hospital CEO Madeline Nava. “He’s an experienced executive with a proven track record within HCA Healthcare. I’m thrilled to promote a long-term colleague to our team.”
In his role, Fischesser is responsible for managing all financial departments and allocating resources.
“I am thrilled to assume the role of CFO and continue the growth and development underway at University Hospital,” said Fischesser. “I look forward to working collaboratively with the team, and I’m excited to be a part of the facility’s upward expansion trajectory.”
Fischesser started his career with HCA Healthcare in 2014. He earned his master of business administration from Middle Tennessee State University’s Jones College of Business. He earned his bachelor of science from Indiana University, where he was also a member of the men’s golf team.
Fischesser will officially join the University Hospital team on Monday, June 19, 2023.
