March 31, 2026 – Building on its continued investment in advanced cardiovascular care, HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital is proud to announce the addition of electrophysiology services (EP), further expanding access to specialized heart care for patients across West Broward. This follows the successful opening of the hospital’s state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization lab in October 2025.

Electrophysiology focuses on diagnosing and treating heart rhythm disorders, including Afib and other arrythmias. This means advanced testing, minimally invasive procedures, and specialized care—close to home.

“Heart rhythm disorders can significantly impact a patient’s quality of life. By bringing electrophysiology services to HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital, we’re able to diagnose and treat these conditions earlier and more effectively, giving patients access to highly specialized care right here in Tamarac.” – Dr. Sameer Satija, Cardiologist at HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital.

The new service is part of the hospital’s broader commitment to innovation and growth, reflecting ongoing enhancements to the campus and expansion of advanced clinical services. By continuing to build on its cardiac program, HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital is improving access, leveraging advanced technology, and enhancing patient outcomes to support the long-term health of the communities it serves.
