April 16, 2025 – HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital, part of the larger HCA Florida Healthcare network, recently celebrated the construction of its all-new state-of-the-art Cardiac Catheterization Lab, a $12M+ investment that will expand access to cardiac services for the West Broward community. The new construction is set to open in late 2025.
The hospital hosted a groundbreaking ceremony attended by City of Tamarac Mayor, Michelle J. Gomez, Fire Rescue and EMS partners, and members of the hospital’s Board of Trustees and Medical Staff, underscoring the strong community support behind this project.
