November 28, 2022HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital, an industry-leading 271-bed acute care facility, announces the appointment of Caren Bock, MBA, MSN, RN, LSSBB as Chief Nursing Officer, effective December 12, 2022.

With 18 years of healthcare experience, Bock served most recently as the interim Chief Nursing Officer at HCA Florida Northwest Hospital where she was a key driver in employee engagement and patient experience. She has also served as the Director of Children’s Services at HCA Florida Palms West Hospital.

Bock is a graduate of the HCA Executive Development Program and the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer Capstone Program. She is also a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and belongs to the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Florida Organization of Nurse Executives.

Her many accomplishments over her career include operational process improvement awards, nurse of the year recognitions, exceptional family caregiver award, and is a published author of Wings, Soar Through the Journey, donating profits to the community. Bock has had numerous community appearances and is philanthropic with many organizations in South Florida.

At HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital, Bock will oversee clinical nursing operations throughout the hospital to advance quality, safety, experience, and patient care delivery.
