May 31, 2023 HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital, a 271-bed facility, part of HCA Florida Healthcare, the largest healthcare system in the state, has named Piotr Gorecki as its Chief Operating Officer, effective June 26.

Gorecki has served in leadership positions across HCA Healthcare since 2018, most recently as Vice President of Operations for HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital. In this capacity, Gorecki provided executive oversight of both clinical and support departments, led the Behavioral Health service line, developed the hospital’s Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center, and was responsible for over $30 million in construction projects.

Prior to his role at HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital, Gorecki served as Assistant Administrator for Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas, part of HCA Healthcare’s Methodist Healthcare System. During his tenure at Methodist Hospital, Gorecki had oversight of daily operations of ancillary and support areas, overseeing a staff of more than 700 team members. Additionally, he supported the facility’s strategic growth, service line development, and physician recruitment initiatives.

Gorecki holds a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Saint Louis University and a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Trinity University.
