Genevieve La Ferrera, RN, BSN, is a nurse manager with the Health Care District of Palm Beach County’s Behavioral Health pilot program at the Mangonia Park Community Health Center. She joined the team at the very start of the pilot, helping build a new model of integrated care for patients struggling with mental health or substance use disorder. La Ferrera is known for combining clinical excellence with heartfelt compassion. She approaches every patient interaction with empathy and support, making a meaningful impact on individuals and their families during vulnerable times. Her dedication to treating the whole person, body and mind, reflects the mission of the pilot program. Over the past year, La Ferrera has helped shape a growing program while continuing to grow personally and professionally as a nurse and a leader. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Florida.
