Heather Miller has been named director of cancer services at Broward Health Medical Center (BHMC) and Chris Evert Children’s Hospital (CECH). Miller has been serving as the interim director of cancer services since 2010.

 

A member of the BHMC staff since 2005, Miller is a registered nurse and is board certified in ANCC-Pediatrics. She has served as the nurse manager of pediatric oncology and pediatric palliative care for the past four years. Miller holds national certification in pediatric oncology. She is a national instructor for Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses’ (APHON) chemotherapy and biotherapy program and has presented at several seminars and conferences on oncology.
