Hialeah Hospital names Silvia Rodriguez, RN, BSN, MBA-HA, as its new chief nursing officer. She has over 20 years of healthcare experience in the South Florida region.Rodriguez has held a variety of executive nursing positions throughout her career. Prior to becoming CNO, Rodriguez served as the ICU director at Palmetto General Hospital. She also served as a director of emergency department, director of nursing and chief operating officer/chief nursing officer at other Tenet Healthcare hospitals, including Palmetto General Hospital, Coral Gables Hospital and Hollywood Medical Center. She has also served as a Director of Telemetry/Diabetes as well as Assistant Vice President of Acute Services at other South Florida hospitals.
