Hialeah Hospital is proud to announce that Raul Mederos, M.D., FACS, was among 1,467 Initiates from around the world who became Fellows of the American College of Surgeons (“FACS”) during convocation ceremonies at the College’s 96th annual Clinical Congress in Washington, D.C., in October.

Dr. Mederos received a medical doctorate degree in 2002 from the University of Florida and is currently on staff at Hialeah Hospital. In 2007, Dr. Mederos attained board certification from the American Board of Surgery.
