As part of Hialeah Hospital’s celebration recognizing National Nurses Week, CEO Ben A. Rodriguez proudly announced its 2013 Vivian Hurst Nurse Award to Veronica Grover, R.N. Grover’s ability to lead others and her extraordinary level of dedication and commitment to the hospital, her patients and colleagues made her a perfect candidate for the Vivian Hurst Nurse Award and title of “Nurse of the Year.”
 
Grover began her career at Hialeah Hospital in 1983 as a clinical nurse and now serves as a relief charge nurse. This veteran nurse can be best described as being decisive, respectful, reliable and hardworking. Grover’s ability to work well with her peers, medical staff and patients has earned her the respect of the entire hospital.
