October 6, 2025 – Broward Health Medical Center welcomed students from the American Heritage Pre-Medical Program, from its Broward and Palm Beach campuses, to host the 26^th annual Superhero Party for pediatric cancer patients.

During this memorable occasion, young patients wrote wish lists to Santa and mailed them to the North Pole, played board games and dressed up as their favorite superheroes.

In the following weeks, the students will work on raising thousands of dollars to make those wishes possible and present the gifts at a holiday party in December.

The superhero-themed room was decorated by the students and provided a magical setting where patients, doctors, nurses and students connected through games and crafts.
