The Palm Beach Children’s Hospital at St. Mary’s Medical Center recently received 10 iPads and cases as a donation from Team Aaron, a non-profit organization who recently launched Aaron’s iPad Lending Library. The 10 iPads will be available for pediatric patients through Palm Beach Children’s Hospital’s sharing library.

Aaron’s iPad Lending Library was started by an 11-year-old girl named Sarah who saw what a difference an iPad made in her 6-year-old cousin Aaron’s recovery from cancer. She decided to begin raising money as a service project at her school.

The 10 iPads that the organization raised will entertain children at the Palm Beach Children’s Hospital by allowing them to watch movies, listen to music, play games, video chat with family and friends, and most importantly, maintain a safe connection to the outside world.
