The Guerrieri Family Foundation, in an ongoing commitment to the mission of Holy Cross Health, has announced that its latest donation brings the foundation’s total giving to more than $7 million.

“We are so grateful to the Guerrieri family for their incredible support of Holy Cross over the years,” Holy Cross CEO and President Mark Doyle said. “Because of their commitment and generosity, we continue to serve our community with healthcare excellence, cutting edge treatment, and compassionate and comprehensive care.”

The generous gift will fund the renovation of the three-story Holy Cross Medical Complex at 4701 N. Federal Highway, which will be renamed the Guerrieri Family Medical Complex.

In 2001, the Guerrieri Family Foundation made a transformational gift to Holy Cross, and in recognition, the non-profit hospital’s soaring two-story main lobby featuring the Holy Cross Health and Sisters of Mercy History Wall was named the Guerrieri Family Foundation Lobby.

Then in 2012, the Guerrieri Family Foundation donated a substantial gift to name the Patricia R. Guerrieri Pavilion at the Dorothy Mangurian Comprehensive Women’s Center at Holy Cross HealthPlex, which offers community education rooms; a café and teaching kitchen; medical spa; lifestyle counseling rooms; health education lobby; volunteer office; and physician suites.
