Dr. Catalina Ionita is a stroke/neurocritical care specialist who most recently served as director of Neurocritical Care Services of Catholic Health System in Buffalo, NY. Dr. Ionita attended the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Craiova in Romania, where she also completed post-graduate training, followed by neurology residencies at the University of Bucharest in Romania and at the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. She also completed a fellowship in vascular neurology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and a neurocritical care fellowship at Duke University in Durham, N.C. Additionally, she has served in academic positions at the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Craiova.

 

Prior to joining Holy Cross, Dr. Gabriel Manzi served as the geriatrics primary care clinic coordinator for the Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin regional health network in Milwaukee, WI, and as a provider for the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). Additionally, at the Medical College of Wisconsin, he was an assistant geriatrics professor and the assistant program director for the geriatrics fellowship program. Dr. Manzi received his medical degree in Bogota, Colombia, from the Universidad El Bosque Escuela Colombiana de Medicina. He completed his residency in family medicine at the Mount Sinai Hospital Medical Center in Chicago and a fellowship in geriatrics at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
