Fort Lauderdale, Florida – October 15, 2024 – Teresa Deasy, R.N., BSN, M.S. has been named Vice President of Operations for Holy Cross Medical Group. She is responsible for executing strategic growth initiatives of the multi-specialty physician employed group of more than 130 physicians providing services throughout Broward County.
Deasy’s responsibilities include patient access, network integrity, ambulatory growth, enhancing practice operations, improving patient experience and overseeing the directors of key service lines. A business-focused and outcome-oriented leader who brings a coveted blend of extensive healthcare experience and business acumen to effectively manage large-scale healthcare operations, Deasy is well-respected for building strong working relationships with C-suite executives, key stakeholders and opinion drivers.

Prior to joining Holy Cross Medical Group, Deasy was most recently Associate Vice President of Product Line Services for Broward Health Medical Center, where she served in a variety of significant roles in her 23-year career there. She is also a former assistant nurse manager at Cleveland Clinic-Fort Lauderdale.
Deasy is a board member of the South Florida chapter of the American Lung Association and a member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses and Nova Southeastern University’s (NSU) Alumni Association.
Deasy earned a Master of Science in Leadership from Nova Southeastern University’s H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship in Davie, Florida. She also received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from NSU and an Associate of Science in Nursing from Whipps Cross Hospital School of Nursing in London, England.
