Hospice of Palm Beach County is now accredited in two fellowship programs in hospice and palliative medicine. One program is with the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine at JFK Medical Center for allopathic (MD) training, accredited by the Council for Graduate Medical Education, (ACGME.) The other is with Columbia Hospital, the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center and the Palm Beach Centre for Graduate Medical Education, (PBCGME), which is an osteopathic medical center approved by the American Osteopathic Association, (AOA.)

 

The Allopathic Fellow at Hospice of Palm Beach County for 2011-2012 is Sufana Alkhunaizi, M.D., who has completed her internal medicine residency program at Baystate Medical Center at Tufts University in Boston, MA. The Osteopathic Fellow is Richard Teitzman, D.O., who has completed his internal residency at Columbia Hospital in West Palm Beach.
