In response to the growing number of Americans affected by a stroke each year, Delray Medical Center recently added the Innova 3131 digital flat panel biplane imaging system from GE Healthcare to better serve patients in its Neuroscience Center.
The Innova 3131 is an all-digital X-ray imaging system that is used for interventional, neurovascular, cardiovascular and electrophysiology imaging. Its highly detailed images make it possible to maneuver small devices such as catheters, stents and guide wires during neurovascular interventions, balloon angioplasties and other critical procedures.
Major features and benefits on the Innova 3131 include the ability to view hard-to-see small blood vessels and anatomy with greater clarity, simple tableside controls and advanced applications such as Innova CT and Innova 3D for three-dimensional images of the vascular system, bone and soft tissue.

One in three American adults have some form of cardiovascular disease, and coronary heart disease is the nations single leading cause of death.
