BOCA RATON, Fla. – November 22, 2024– Internal medicine physician Althea Watson, MD, MPA, joins the Palm Beach Health Network Physician Group. She is on staff at West Boca Medical Center.
Dr. Watson earned her Doctor of Medicine degree in 2014 from American University of Antigua, College of Medicine, she completed her residency in internal medicine at Brookdale University hospital in Brooklyn, New York, and her fellowship in hospice and palliative medicine at Lincoln Hospital at Cornell University in the Bronx, New York.
Prior to earning her MD, she served as an administrative director for 13 years for Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn. She earned her Master of Public Administration from Long Island University in New York and is expected to earn her Doctor of Philosophy from Walden University in Minneapolis, MN in 2025.
