Interventional and structural cardiologist Michael M. Halista, M.D., joins the Palm Beach Health Network Physician Group. He is on staff at Delray Medical Center and West Boca Medical Center.
Originally from Massachusetts, Dr. Halista earned his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City after obtaining his undergraduate degree at Emory University in Atlanta. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City before pursuing cardiovascular and interventional cardiology training at New York University, where he served as chief fellow during his interventional cardiology fellowship. He completed a dedicated structural heart fellowship with Dr. John Vavalle at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before joining the South Florida Heart Institute team at Delray Medical Center.
