Interventional and Structural Cardiologist Tilak Pasala, MD, FACC, FSCAI, MBA, joins the Palm Beach Health Network Physician Group. He is on staff at Delray Medical Center where he holds the title of Medical Director of Structural Heart Disease.

A nationally recognized authority in structural cardiology, Dr. Pasala has authored over 50 peer-reviewed articles, 12 book chapters, and served as principal investigator in more than eight medical device trials. He is an expert in transcatheter procedures, including TAVR, TEER (MitraClip and TriClip), Watchman, Amulet, and other cutting-edge techniques for mitral, tricuspid, and pulmonary valve disease, as well as PFO and ASD closure. Dr. Pasala also excels in complex coronary and peripheral interventions, including stent placement, atherectomy, and circulatory support.

Previously, he held leadership roles at Hackensack University Medical Center and AdventHealth Orlando and trained fellows as a program director. Dr. Pasala’s advanced training includes fellowships at Case Western Reserve University, the University of Utah, and Hackensack University Medical Center.
