Jackson Health System has appointed Sandy Sears, senior vice president, as chief administrative officer of Jackson North Medical Center. Sears has acted as the interim chief administrative officer of the hospital since December when it was acquired by Jackson Health System.

Sears has served Jackson Health System for 32 years in several capacities. After completing her administrative residency at Jackson, Sears joined the staff in 1975 as an assistant administrator. During her time at Jackson, she was administrator and division director of Emergency Services, director of Community Health Services and senior vice president of Ambulatory Services and Community Health.
