At the annual meeting of the Florida Society of Association Executives (FSAE), Jaime Caldwell was installed as the Chairman of the FSAE Foundation. The FSAE Foundation recognizes that “philanthropy and education are among the most powerful influences working to shape the future of society. The FSAE Foundation integrates philanthropy and education in a unique way to help shape altruism and excellence in association professionals and to promote best practices in the association management industry in Florida.” Caldwell’s acceptance speech recognized the need for involvement of all the members of the FSAE in supporting the educational mission of the Foundation. Caldwell will serve as Chairman until July 2016.
 
Also in July, Caldwell began his term as the Chairman of the Broward County Healthcare Coalition (BCHC). The Coalition includes members from all hospitals in Broward County as well as other healthcare aligned organizations including the Florida Department of Health in Broward County, Florida Division of Emergency Management and the Florida Department of Agriculture. The mission of this coalition is to promote the development of emergency management collaboration through planning, training, exercises, response, recovery and mitigation within the healthcare industry and for the residents and visitors in Broward County. The BCHC has recently incorporated and has received a planning grant from the Florida Division of Emergency Management to further development the mission and goals of the organization.
 
Caldwell is the current vice president of the South Florida Hospital & Healthcare Association.
