SEPT MIAMI, FL – There is a new doctor in the neighborhood! Jessie Trice Community Health System (JTCHS) is proud to announce the addition of Joseph A. Rodriguez, MD, to its primary care team at the JTCHS Flamingo Medical Center in Hialeah, Florida. With over 30 years of experience in family medicine, Dr. Rodriguez is fluent in both English and Spanish. His arrival strengthens JTCHS’s mission to provide comprehensive, culturally competent healthcare to the diverse communities it serves.
“Dr. Rodriguez’s extensive experience and deep connection to the Hispanic community are invaluable assets to JTCHS,” said Ryan R. Hawkins, president and CEO of JTCHS. “We are proud to have him on board as we continue our efforts to provide quality, accessible, and affordable healthcare for all.”
Dr. Rodriguez earned his medical. degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and completed his residency at Baylor College of Medicine. He brings an extensive background in family and addiction medicine, having held positions such as Assistant Medical Director at the Broward Addiction and Recovery Center (BARC) and serving as a physician in both outpatient and inpatient settings, including hospitals and community health centers across South Florida. His career also includes private practice.
