Jesús Sr., Monica, and Jesús Luzardo Jr. at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital to announce beneficiaries for the 1st annual Jesús Luzardo Golf Classic.

December 12, 2024 — “Collaboration” was the word of the evening when Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Foundation hosted the Jesús Luzardo Family Foundation and two other South Florida-based nonprofits for an event in Hollywood where the Luzardo family announced the beneficiaries of its upcoming fundraiser.

Luzardo, a pitcher for the Miami Marlins, will host a celebrity golf event January 13 at the Parkland Golf & Country Club that will benefit Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County, and Arc Broward. All three organizations focus on kids, which supports the mission of the ballplayer’s foundation to empower and uplift children of all abilities in South Florida while supporting health, wellness, and underserved community programs.
