Jill Szymanski, R.N., has been named director of performance improvement at Baptist Hospital in Kendall.

A hospital employee since 2001, Syzmanski most recently served as manager of quality management. Before joining Baptist, she served as director of health services consulting for Soza & Company, Ltd.; manager of the regional cardiac program for Kaiser Permanente; and director of ambulatory services at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Sigonella, Italy.
