Dr. Orhan Kilinc is a pediatric electrophysiologist with fellowship training in pediatric cardiology and electrophysiology. His approach is to pay attention to the patient’s needs and ensure treatment is done for the child, not to the child, since it’s important that everyone in the family understands the heart rhythm condition.

Children’s heart disorders are more variable than those found in adults, and Dr. Kilinc says the variety of cases can be a ‘pandora’s box’ that requires a tailored approach. “We share the decision-making process with parents, wanting them to understand what is happening, and how it can be managed. I want them to feel comfortable and confident in the plan we’ll create together.

At the end of the day, my job is to do everything in my power to help children feel better and get back to living their lives.”
