Cardiologist and lipidologist Jonathan Fialkow, M.D., FACC, has been named executive medical director of Baptist Health Quality Network (BHQN), a clinically integrated network that is part of Baptist Health South Florida.

 

Dr. Fialkow is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification in Cardiovascular Diseases, and a lipidologist certified by the American Board of Clinical Lipidology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association.

 

In addition to his private practice, Dr. Fialkow has held numerous leadership positions at Baptist Health hospitals. He is medical director of clinical cardiology at Baptist Cardiac & Vascular Institute, director of cardiology services at the Chest Pain Center at Baptist Hospital and medical director of the hospital’s Stress Lab, EKG and Cardiac Rehabilitation program. He is clinical assistant professor at Florida International University’s Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine.
