Jupiter Medical Center has launched a $6 million technology project to support the hospitals major multi-year growth initiative and clinical quality initiatives that improve patient safety and care.
Construction recently began on a new 2,400-square-foot data center, a critical component of the infrastructure expansion project currently underway that includes an outpatient center, central energy plant, additional ICU beds, and a Heart and Vascular Center. Expected to be operational in 2009, the data center will be the hospitals hub of hospital operations, serving both clinical and financial systems and increasing medical team access to electronic medical records, patient safety and more.
