Jupiter Medical Center announces the appointment of Dr. W. Jeffrey Davis as the new medical director of Urgent Care. With more than 30 years of experience in health care, Dr. Davis is a recognized leader in emergency medicine and public safety.
Prior to joining Jupiter Medical Center, Dr. Davis was the medical director of Concentra Urgent Care in North Jacksonville. His new position at Jupiter Medical Center marks a return to South Florida, where he spent nine years as chief medical officer at St. Mary’s Medical Center and Palm Beach Children’s Hospital. Dr. Davis also served as the Trauma Agency director for the Palm Beach County Health Care District, as well as medical director of Palm Beach County Fire Rescue, among other appointments.
Dr. Davis received his medical degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He completed his residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine.
