Kathy Clark, R.N., CCRN, nurse manager, Indian River Medical Center’s Intermediate Cardiac Care, has earned the designation of Certified Nurse Manager and Leader (CNML) from the American Organization of Nurse Executives and the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.
Clark, who came to IRMC in November 2007 as nursing supervisor, began the independent study to earn the CNML two years ago. To earn the designation, an individual must satisfy eligibility requirements that incorporate a blend of work experience and education, agree to adhere to Professional Standards of Conduct, and pass the CNML examination.
