The Board of Directors of American Medical Technologists (AMT) recently presented Arthur Keiser, Ph.D., and Evelyn Keiser, co-founders of Keiser University, with a National Special Recognition award for their many contributions to the medical technologist profession.
At 83 years young, and 30 years after founding Keiser University, Ms. Keiser serves as Chairwoman of the Board of Advisors for Keiser University. Although no longer teaching, Ms. Keiser continues to advise faculty and serve as an advocate for students in the Medical Laboratory Technician program. Dr. Keiser serves as Chancellor of the Fort Lauderdale based private university.
