Kendall Regional Medical Center is proud to announce that it is the first and only trauma center in Miami-Dade County to receive verification by the American College of Surgeons (ACS). Furthermore, it is one of only four in the entire state of Florida to receive this verification.

 
The ACS strives to improve care of injured patients before, during, and after hospitalization. The verification process is voluntary and requires that a trauma center submit to a site visit to ensure that it has all the resources as listed in the ACS’s verification manual “Resources for Optimal Care of the Injured Patient”.
