March 27, 2024 — LeadingAge Southeast, the premier association representing senior living providers in Florida, Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi, is pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Crabtree, President and CEO of Lambeth House in New Orleans, to its Board of Trustees. Mr. Crabtree’s addition to the board marks a significant milestone as he is the first Louisiana member to serve in this capacity, further ensuring that all members across the region are represented in the governance of the newly merged association.

Mr. Crabtree has worked in healthcare administration since 1982 and has decades of experience managing continuing care retirement communities. He was appointed by the Secretary of the Louisiana Department of Health as a member of the Nursing Home Emergency Preparedness Review Committee and was appointed as Designated Regional Coordinator for Region 1 of Louisiana.

“Scott brings a wealth of knowledge and insight that will be invaluable as we navigate the complex senior living landscape in our region,” said Steve Bahmer, LeadingAge Southeast President & CEO. “Furthermore, Scott’s extensive experience as emergency response coordinator will be instrumental as we serve members throughout parts of the southeast during emergencies.”

Mr. Crabtree’s leadership at Lambeth House has been characterized by a steadfast commitment to excellence and innovation in senior living management. His deep understanding of the local nuances of long-term care challenges and opportunities uniquely positions him to contribute to the strategic direction and decision-making processes of LeadingAge Southeast.
