October 2, 2025- LeadingAge Southeast proudly announces that 16 nursing homes across Florida have been awarded the prestigious Governor’s Gold Seal Award, recognizing sustained excellence in long-term care. Of these honorees, 14 are members of LeadingAge Southeast, underscoring the association’s leadership in advancing quality, innovation, and compassionate care for older adults.

The Gold Seal Program, established by the (Florida) Governor’s Panel on Excellence in Long-Term Care, recognizes nursing home facilities that demonstrate superior performance in providing for the physical, social, and emotional well-being of residents. Facilities honored with this distinction exemplify best practices in care, foster a stable and supportive workforce, and promote the long-term stability of the industry.
