The second phase of the Outpatient Center at Surfside in Cape Coral is now open.

Located at the intersection of Veterans Parkway and Surfside Boulevard, the medical facility will now offer orthopedics, rheumatology and rehabilitation services, while also featuring a breast health center, imaging, lab services and primary care physician offices on site.

The second phase of the project is also bringing Lee Physician Group specialists in orthopedics to Cape Coral, so residents will no longer need to travel to Fort Myers for appointments. Additionally, rheumatology specialists will be available full-time, giving Cape Coral patients more access to specialized care.

Phase two of the project added 15,000 square feet to the two-story complex, which originally opened its doors in 2015.
